If you’re visiting Almere, you’re in luck! There’s plenty there to see and do. From amazing museums to fantastic restaurants, this city has it all. Check out the list below for some of the best things to do in Almere:

Almere has several bus lines that transport people throughout the city, including the Almere City Tour, the Almere Plein Tour, and the Almere Canal. There are also several other companies that offer private transport for individuals and groups.

Many attractions in Almere provide free transportation for their visitors. Some examples are the Nieuwegein Museum, Royal Dutch Shell PLC Tour, ROC Spoorwegmuseum, De Lijn Museum, Almere Zoo, and NAMM (Netherlands Association for Musical Instruments), to name a few. Almere is home to a number of museums. There are a number of other museums in Almere as well, but they are spread out across the city.

A large part of Almere’s economy is based on tourism, including hotels and restaurants. The city offers visitors many ways to see and do things that include visiting one or more of these attractions:
As mentioned before, Almere has many restaurants that offer excellent cuisine based on Germanic influences. Some of these restaurants are traditional German or Dutch, but many are also Asian or Italian.

Many of the activities available in Almere are free for tourists, which makes it perfect for visitors who might not want to spend too much money during their visit.
It’s rare that one doesn’t have something to do in Almere. There is always plenty to do! For example, if you’re staying at the Royal Dutch Shell PLC Tour hotel, you can take part in guided tours of Shell headquarters including the underground oil tanks. If you enjoy the outdoors, you can explore the nature reserve at Wild Safari Nature Park. You can also explore the city on foot or by bus. There are several different tours of varying lengths that can be taken by tourists. The list of these tours changes often, so it’s best to check with your hotel for new information regarding their specific tour offerings.

Almere is home to many attractive parks and gardens. Some that provide visitors with ample opportunity for enjoyment include Dutch Palace Garden, Stumpaker Park (the city’s largest park), Kasteelpark De Duinen (the city’s most large park), Almere Canal, and Almere Botanical Gardens (in Oude Boteringestraat). Almere offers many exciting activities for visitors, including the zoo, canal tour, and nature reserve. If you love to shop, you can find many different shops in Almere.

There are several art galleries that are available for tourists to visit. These art galleries are organized by district. For example, Dutch Gallery is located in Almere Zuid Districts. Also included are telephone numbers for these establishments if you want to call them about an upcoming exhibit or special event at their location: Opening times vary per gallery so it’s best to check this list regularly for any changes.

Almere has a lot to offer as far as entertainment attractions go. There are multiple theaters, amusement parks, various restaurants, and much more. Visitors can also enjoy classical concerts, jazz concerts, theatre performances, and much more.

Restaurants in the city offer many types of food that are unique to the Netherlands. Visitors will be able to meet lots of people from all over the Netherlands because Almere has several venues where people gather for various things including political discussions, sporting events, and religious gatherings.

There are also many retail shops that offer their visitors a wide variety of items to buy. Almere is the perfect place to shop because it’s located between Amsterdam and Utrecht.
The main shopping area in Almere is called Oudegracht which is centered around the Plein. This area is home to over 350 stores that are easily accessible by bicycle.

Almere’s most prominent attractions include the Royal Dutch Shell PLC Tour hotel, Wild Safari Nature Park, 2 beaches, an aquarium, an ice rink, a miniature golf course, elvenpaviljoen ‘t Zand (the Netherlands’ largest fairytale forest), and The Tower of Dolls at Hotel Hektra.
